**With NEBELKEGELN (Fog Bowling)**, STWST is creating a continuous installation and a bowling tournament featuring bowling in the fog on two evenings. 

**What will the participating combatants play?** With its bowling tournament this year's Stadtwerkstatt art event NEBELKEGELN stages a spectacle of reduced visibility, diffuse events, invisibility, and unverifiability. A game is played in the fog, but reality, simulations and results cannot be discerned.

**The art event NEBELKEGELN (Fog Bowling) is a game and an exploration of parameters** of media, technology and life—Flooding the Zone With Fog. The Fog is the Media. THE MEDIA IS THE FOG IN YOU. 

**NEBELKEGELN is in some aspects also a paraphrase and reorganisation** of the earlier Stadtwerkstatt project GLASFIEBER: While the earlier project featured a bowling tournament with glass pins as a splintering reality, with NEBELKEGELN Stadtwerkstatt today showcases the short path from decentralization to disorientation - and a state of dematerialization and dissolution.

**The project is based on actor-network theories**, theories of quasi-objects and unpurified states, an immanently given setting of simultaneous yes and no, a YES-NO of the diffuse states in between, in which situations and results are merely being simulated and feigned.

++ WARM UP: Fog Bowling will commence on both days with a warm up – practice is available with real skittles. Please proceed to the INFORMATION POINT during this time. There you will receive a NUMBER for the running order for Fog Bowling.
++ FOG BOWLING: The dematerialised spectacle of reduced foresight, diffuse events and unverifiability involves bowling in a dematerialised scenario.
++ STATEMENT: There is an opportunity to contribute a sentence on the state of art, technology and diffuseness. Just to say: we can also provide something if needed. Criticism of tech giants or psychos of the world is always welcome, as are activist options for a different world, technology and art! 

**Who can participate?**
Individuals, groups, collectives, and institutions - everybody and their fog dogs!

Registration for the preliminary rounds is required by September 2, till midnight.
